General Context: In Australia - another week
Sleep: Still working on this! Moving the ebaying to afternoons has helped.
Teeth: the title of this post is the name of the metal rod or pin that kept breaking off in my jaw; they tried old ones and new ones and about five broke and had to be pulled out with some other tool, the name of which they hid from me (perhaps it is scary); my dentist here is awesome and is also training a younger dentist, so I'm glad the breaking-off happened with me, since I am basically calm in the chair; while people were going to fetch more of the number 15s Dr. Ray described what was happening using science fictional language :)
Publicly shareable things accomplished: (1) more invoices; (2) two lots of dental surgery, with approximately two more to go; (3) lots of photos of libraries (for the director's talk at a Chinese library conference) and the bay walk/run (for year 10 geography project)
Culinary high points: experimenting with quinoa (with brown sugar and raisins for breakfast, with grilled onions and veggies for dinner), and an amazing "freshly squeezed granny smith" apple juice (oh and lots of protein of course)
Dark chocolate: yes
Exercise: lots of up and down the hall - need to do better in this area
