Publicly shareable things accomplished: (since I last posted in May, too many to list right now)
Culinary high points: What I learned from Australia's version of MasterChef is to start with good ingredients and try not to wreck them. Tonight I cooked some chevups (beef sausage) with onions and peppers, then added tomato sauce, trying to get a mixture that was sort of like the contents of an Australian sausage sizzle minus the bread (that could be put over brown rice). My taster said there was too much tomato but otherwise it was OK. It had better be at least edible because there's a lot left...
Dark chocolate: sadly, still eating this from time to time
Exercise: lots on my trip through the USA, not enough today though (chores alone don't count); planning to escalate :)
